Projectgroups
As a member of Mälekon, you have the privilege of joining one of our project groups. Either you choose to join one of our annual events or you have the possibility to come up with your own proposals for events where you have the opportunity to take responsibility as a project manager. Down below are our most popular events where you can join a project group.
The Rookie Period
Project group to introduce the new economics students at Mälardalen University. Places to be appointed are generals, play leaders, etc. Generals are appointed during the spring and preparations are ongoing until the kick-off day, which is usually a few days before the start of school.
SM in Economics
Mälekon holds a competition in Västerås which later ends in a final somewhere in Sweden together with other participating schools. The requirements for you to be allowed to join this project group are not so high as you should in principle only be good at planning and carrying out the planning.
Mälekons Economy Day
A day dedicated to economists where companies from the business world come and lecture for students who are interested in a future job for these companies. The requirements are that you should be able to communicate with the different companies, plan and be able to execute.
