Utbildnings utskottet
Vi i utbildningsnämnden arbetar för att förbättra de ekonomirelaterade utbildningarna vid Mälardalens Universitet, samt att behålla och utveckla en hög kvalitet på programmen! Frågor som vi diskuterar i alla möjliga olika möten och event med professorer, lärare och studenter är till exempel kursstrukturen och eventuella förändringar inom programmet.
Genom samarbeten med EST-akademin och studenter kan vi påverka alla dessa frågor som nämnts ovan och komma på idéer till evenemang för att hjälpa studenter i deras utbildning och lärande.

MAHDI AHMADZADE
ORDFÖRANDE UTBILDNING
My original ambition was to become a professional football player, but after a knee injury, I chose to redirect my focus toward academics and leadership. This experience strengthened my resilience and adaptability.
I studied economics in high school and am currently in my second year pursuing a degree in Economics at university.
I previously served as Treasurer for MED 2025, where I applied my financial knowledge in practice and managed budgeting responsibilities. Today, I serve as Chairperson of the Education Committee, working to improve economics programs and ensure that students’ feedback is represented. I am also the Project Leader for the qualifying round of the Swedish Championships (SM) in Economics 2026, where I further develop my leadership and organizational skills.l
HUGO JOKINEN

I am driven by continuous development and enjoy travelling and exploring new environments, as it allows me to broaden my perspectives and gain insight into different cultures and ways of thinking
I am currently studying Analytical Finance, where I am developing strong analytical and financial competencies
As Vice Chairperson of Education, I work to enhance the academic experience by gathering student feedback, collaborating with faculty, and organizing initiatives such as the Swedish Championships (SM) in Economics. In addition, I serve as CFO of a company, managing financial strategy, budgeting, and long-term planning. I also bring over five years of experience in sales, which has strengthened my leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
